So... how exactly will I grow?

Though it has already been said how much you will learn this year, you also need to understand how much you will grow as a person. You become more independant, because you don't stay with the same kids all day long. You have 6 different teachers and each classes have different students. Also, more is expected of you, causing you to be challenged day to day. The homework is overwhelming, along with studying for tests and projects. You will be amazed at how much you change due to simply having much more expected of you. Finally,through sixth grade the teachers and staff also teach you how to stand up for yourself and what is right. You may be timid at first, but this is expected of you when Olweus comes around. Olweus lasts for a few months during A.A. Olweus is a program that promotes no-bullying and shows you what is wrong and what is right. Seeing how you grow as a person during 6th grade is amazing.
