Welcome to the pond tadpoles!

What is A.A and why will I like it so much?

Having your own AA is really something to look forward to. Each morning at about 9:10 you see your AA for about fifteen minutes and on Fridays you spend 45 minutes in AA. Throughout the year you become like a family, with you, your classmates, and teacher. You don't become as close as you would with the one teacher most kids have in elementary school, but AA is still important. Your AA participates in many of the activities during the school year and you also work together to win competitions. It is like a way of labeling yourself (e.g. I am in Mrs. Bush's AA).  Each 6th,7th, or 8th grade teacher has their own A.A. Each AA usually has about twenty to twenty five kids in it. You also sit at the table designated for your AA in the lunchroom (e.g. Table 4). AA is a way to make friends, because if none of your friends are in your AA, you really have to make new ones, because you have to sit with them at lunch. You learn information about upcoming events in AA and all together have a great time. You get to meet new people, win competitions or participate in activities, and last you grow with your AA as a family.
